Rules framed under the CNl Constitution Part-II, Cluzpter-IV, Section-IV, Clause 32

1. In case an independent Congregation desires to join the Church of North India, the application shall be made to the Bishop of the Diocese in the territorial jurisdiction of which the said Congregation is located.

2. The application shall be accompanied by an affidavit sworn and signed by the Office-bearers of the said Congregation declaring their desire to join the Church of North India.

3. It shall also be accompanied by a copy of the Minutes of the General Body meeting wherein the resolution to join the Church of North India was passed, duly signed by the Minister in charge and the Secretary of the said Congregation, duly at­tested.

4. The application will be considered by the Diocesan Executive Committee, and, if approved, the Congregation will be received into the Diocese in a Service of Reception. The Minister shall also be unified and issued with Licence! Authorization by the Bishop, it being understood that the Minister has undergone a period of orientation prior to hisJher unification.

5. Members of the said Congregation shall be required to sign a declaration of assent to the Constitution of the Church of North India.

6. If the said Congregation is registered under any law of the land, it shall get itself de-registered and shall transfer its immovable property, if any, to the Church of North India Trust Associa­tion preferably before or at the time of its joining the Church of North India.
