Clause 1. The Council of Bishops shall consist of Bishops of the Church of North India in active service.

Clause 2. PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL OF BISHOPS: The Moderator of the Church of North India shall be the ex­-officio President of the Council of Bishops and shall be its official spokesperson.

Clause 3. VICE PRESIDENT CUM SECRETARY OF THE COUNCIL OF BISHOPS: The Deputy Moderator of the Church of North India, shall be the Vice-President cum Secretary of the Council of Bishops. In the absence of the President, the Vice-President shall preside over the meetings.

Clause 4. MEETINGS: The Council of Bishops shall meet at least once a year or as often as the need may arise.

Clause 5. OBJECTIVES OF THE COUNCIL OF BISHOPS: To have fellowship, sharing of experiences in the Church for mutual understanding and for the strengthening of each other.
